Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Each class' intensity level is noted using the Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) scale:

  • 1

    Very Light
    Barely working. Can carry on a conversation with no effort.

  • 2-3

    Light
    Working with little exertion. Easy to breathe and carry on a conversation.

  • 4-6

    Moderate
    Can comfortably maintain exercise intensity. Breathing somewhat heavily, can hold a short conversation.

  • 7-8

    Hard
    Feels uncomfortable, but able to maintain exercise intensity. Shortness of breath, can speak a sentence.

  • 9

    Very Hard
    Very difficult to maintain exercise intensity. Can barely breathe and speak a single word.

  • 10

    Max Effort
    Feels almost impossible to keep going. Completely out of breath, unable to talk.

Cardiovascular

  • Cycle

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    This indoor cycling class utilizes a variety of training techniques and terrains such as hill climbs, sprints, endurance rides, watt pushes, and more!

  • Zumba

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    Join the party in this dance fitness class that incorporates easy-to-follow, heart-pumping choreography utilizing rhythms from all over the world!

  • HIIT

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    This is a 30 minute high intensity interval training class that offers variety in its design so you’ll never have the same workout twice. HIIT combines both body weight and weighted exercises in an all-out fashion to spike your heart rate and push your limits.

  • Rise and Ride

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    Rise and come ride your way into an energized morning. This cycle class will be sure to kick start your day with heart pumping music and a workout to match.

Mind-Body

  • Barre to the Beat

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    Inspired by ballet, yoga, and strength training, this barre class is designed to sculpt long, lean muscles. You'll move to the beat of fun, energizing music while improving your muscular endurance, balance, and flexibility. Think of this as the Zumba of Ballet!

  • Pilates

    LOW INTENSITY

    Pilates is a system of exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to build strength, increase flexibility, and improve posture and mental awareness of the body. Pilates embodies many of the same principles and benefits of yoga, but with an extra emphasis on strengthening the muscles of the core.

  • Yoga Sculpt

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    This 45-minute yoga practice is our most heart-pumping, powerful yoga format that stretches, strengthens, and tones the entire body in a flowing sequence.

  • Yoga Flow

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    This 45 or 60-minute vinyassa style yoga class incorporates more fluid, flowing sequences that focus on increasing our strength and flexibility while calming the mind through slow and controlled movement.

  • Restorative Yoga

    LOW INTENSITY

    This 60-minute yoga practice focuses on holding poses for longer periods of time to help participants relax, de-stress, and increase flexibility in a very calming and uplifting environment.

  • Sunrise Yoga

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    Start your day flowing through the morning with our sunrise yoga. Feel your body become more awake and energized as you flow through a variety of movements. You will leave this class with a clear mind and warm body – ready for the day!

  • Paddleboard Yoga

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    Discover a unique sense of calm and balance with our Paddleboard Yoga class, hosted in the serene environment of our indoor pool. Led by experienced instructors, you'll gracefully move through yoga poses on paddleboards, blending the gentle movements of water with the art of yoga.

Strength

    • Barre to the Beat

    The name says it all—this 30 minute class is all about strengthening and stabilizing all the core muscles: abdominals, obliques, glutes, lower back and hips. This class welcomes all fitness levels with its variety of exercises and intensities to ensure everyone receives a complete core workout.

  • Kettlebells

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    This class will utilize the versatility of the kettlebell to create a total body workout that will develop movement skills, strengthen and build muscle, and test your conditioning. Participants will learn and refine their kettlebell skills before engaging in a combination of strength and cardio elements that will leave them feeling challenged, yet accomplished!

  • Pilates

  • Total Body Strength

    You’ll experience a full-body strength workout that utilizes the beat of the music to motivate you to have fun while increasing your muscular strength and endurance!

  • Yoga Sculpt

    MODERATE INTENSITY

    Elevate your fitness with Gym Floor Circuit – a small group class seamlessly combining cardio and strength training. Held in the downstairs weight room (Fitness 1), this small group session offers a motivating environment for all fitness levels. Join us for a fun and efficient workout, targeting both cardiovascular endurance and strength.
