The Personal Training program is designed to provide our members with the personal attention of working with a trainer to reach all their fitness goals. Benefits of working with a personal trainer include:
This session will give you your baseline fitness measurements by completing the following tests: Body Composition, Cardiovascular Endurance, Flexibility, Height, Weight, Girth Measurements, Muscular Endurance, and Blood Pressure Screenings.
An efficient workout program with innovative ways to improve your health, designed just for you!
Partner training is a great opportunity for two participants to work out together and still get the personal attention of a trainer, all at a reduced price!
Small group training is an affordable way to enjoy a personalized training program for groups of 4-8 participants. Custom training can be created for groups interested in training for a specific target such as improved body composition, a marathon or obstacle run preparation, or simply increased overall fitness within your group.
All sessions are one hour in length and available to any current Illinois State University student or Student Fitness Center member. Sessions typically take place in the open workout areas of the Student Fitness Center. Through partnership between Campus Recreation and the School of Kinesiology and Recreation, the Exercise Physiology Lab and Personal Training Studio (Room 177) can also be used as a more private setting for sessions and assessments.
Personal trainers will introduce you to the various cardio and resistance training options in the Student Fitness Center. Sessions are one hour in length; individualized workouts are not included.
