As long as you give 100% of you effort to the workouts, I will give you 100% of my knowledge and skills to get you to where you want to be.

I played and am currently playing lacrosse here at ISU and understand firsthand how hard it can be to find the motivation to go to the gym every day. There is a saying that drives the way that I live my life each day. “The best way to predict your future is to create it, so if you want it, work for it.” My goal is to help you work to reach your fitness goals, stay motivated, and create your future.
Physical activity has its role in improving the quality of life for everyone and such a simple thing shouldn’t be dismissed. Aside from the physical benefits of exercise, a workout can be beneficial in managing stress and improving brainpower. A bad day outside of the gym will not mean a bad day inside the gym. Adopting an active lifestyle is something that I will never regret and would love to pass on to others. Exercise shouldn’t be a chore to look forward to. Finding an activity that you enjoy will help you stick to it and strive to improve. Being able to enjoy the workout or having a sense of accomplishment afterwards is something, as a personal trainer, I strive to give you every day.
Fitness is a lifestyle and keeping fit is rewarding in all aspects of life. There are many different ways to participate in physical activity. My goal is to find the exercises that fit you best and help you stay motivated so you enjoy working out. I am a former high school/college athlete (track and field) and have experience in a wide range of sports. Once you get hooked on exercise, there is no stopping you. I will not only show you how to work out and customize the workouts just for you, but help you stay motivated by incorporating movements/exercises that challenge you so you can learn to love working out on your own. Everyone has the ability to get stronger and improve their fitness. With the right plan and some consistency, progress will come, and it doesn't have to be as difficult as it may seem. When you find what form of exercise you enjoy, being consistent comes naturally, and reaching your goals becomes a side product of the fun. I found my fun in exercise, and I am always happy to help others find theirs and to help them achieve the goals they set in the process. The feeling of satisfaction that comes with reaching that first real goal is a feeling I think everyone should experience, and is one that will keep you coming back to the gym over and over.
I have a passion for all things fitness! There is more to fitness than going to a gym and lifting weights for an hour. Everyone should find fun ways to stay active and lead healthy lives. My job is to help you find activities that will push you to be the best you that you can be, while enjoying your fitness journey. I will hold you accountable for your workouts and help you stay focused and consistent. I will motivate you through tough times. You are the best project that you’ll ever work on, and with that in mind, we will reach your goals together.
Exercising has benefited me in so many ways both physically and mentally. When I first started, it was definitely a chore and there was nothing I wanted to do less. One day I told myself I would go to the gym 5 times a week for a month, and I haven't looked back since. Now I have come to love every minute I am in the gym, and the positive effects it has on my life. The key to achieving your goals in exercise is consistency. If you can engage in consistent action, and always be taking steps forward no matter how small, you will eventually reach your goal. Once you start engaging in consistent action and start to see results, that is when exercising gets really fun. My goal as a personal trainer is always to show my clients the benefits of exercise, and have them experience all the positive effects exercise had on me.
Being in shape and working out regularly doesn’t always have to be work. There is always a way to make each and every workout fun and enjoyable, whether that’s through exploring new exercises, passing your physical boundaries, or even taking it easy and having a good time in the gym. Not only can you enjoy putting time into working out, but also the improvements you see from consistency and dedication are something to get you up and going every day. These are some factors that you can live by and they will make exercising something more than just “let’s get this over with”. I have come to love my time in the gym every day and am passionate about sharing that love of an active lifestyle with others. Every moment in life is precious, so it’s always best to make the most of it.
Fitness is more than just half-heartedly going to the gym-it’s a way of life! As someone who loves being active, I try to incorporate physical activity into everything I do, whether it’s riding a bike instead of driving, or choosing to eat something both healthy and delicious. Fitness isn’t just about doing grueling workouts or intense training sessions: it’s also about having fun! Ice skating, water skiing, mountain climbing, canoeing or even playing Pokémon Go are all fun and creative workouts. Physical fitness isn’t just about your skill level either-it’s also about your attitude. You can see running as a sweaty, torturous form of exercise to be dreaded or you can see it as a way to get moving, listen to great music, and greatly improve your cardiovascular health. Being healthy and fit now can greatly benefit you, both now and in the future! As your personal trainer, I will not only show you how to work out, but also how to love working out!
