The Outdoor Adventure program provides quality and affordable outdoor equipment rentals to ISU groups. Outdoor workshops and special classes are also available for participants who are interested in learning a new skill or just trying something new.
The climbing wall is a focal point of the main lobby of the Student Fitness Center. Standing 47 feet tall with over 900 square feet of climbing surface, the climbing wall looks, feels and behaves like real rock with routes for every skill level. Those with limited or no climbing experience can take advantage of staff belays during specified climbing hours. To learn to belay, sign up for one of our many belay workshops. For those interested in learning to lead climb, sign up for one of our lead climbing workshops. For those with previous lead climbing experience, sign up for a lead climbing orientation. Find out more information about any of these workshops.
Team Building is a great way to foster trust and develop cohesiveness in any group. Groups are facilitated by qualified staff in a variety of initiatives and activities focused on intrapersonal and interpersonal development. All programs are tailored to fit the needs of the group.
