Campus Recreation hires student team members during the fall and spring semesters. The following steps must be completed to obtain a position with the department:
Monday's and Tuesday's sessions will be located in Room 260 of McCormick Hall. We will be hiring the following positions: Office Assistant, Facility Assistant, Intramural Sports Official, Lifeguard, Adventure Trip Leader, Climbing Wall Supervisor, Adventure Specialist, Team Building Facilitator, Competitive Sports Monitor, Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Service Tech.
Students must be registered for a minimum of six credit hours at Illinois State University to be employed by the department.
The information below is a complete list of the necessary documents that new student team members will need to provide once hired. Additional information will be provided by an immediate supervisor at the time of hire.
All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility for employment in the United States by completing the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9). The Immigration and Control Act of 1986, Public Law 99-603, requires all new employees to file an I-9 in person.Failure to comply with this law will result in cancellation of your offer for employment.

You may download and bring the completed forms to the HR Orientation; however W-4 cards will be supplied and assistance will also be provided on site.
