Campus Recreation hires student team members during the fall and spring semesters. The following steps must be completed to obtain a position with the department:
We will be hiring for the following positions: Team Building Facilitator, Adventure Trip Leader, Competitive Sports Monitor, Intramural Sports Official, Esports Facility Supervisor, Personal Trainer, Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant, Facility Assistant, Lifeguard, and Member Services Associate.

Below is a complete list of documents new student team members will need to provide once hired. Additional information will be provided by an immediate supervisor at the time of hire.
All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility for employment in the United States by completing the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9). The Immigration and Control Act of 1986, Public Law 99-603, requires all new employees to file an I-9 in person. Failure to comply with this law will result in the cancellation of your offer for employment. International Students, please check with International Studies regarding your work status.
Please refer to the FORM I-9 for the complete list of acceptable documents and instructions. As original documents are requested, please begin gathering the necessary documents NOW in order to have them available when an offer is extended.

Visit the Illinois State University Payroll website for instructions on completing your Federal W-4 and IL W-4. You may download and bring the completed forms to the HR Orientation; however, W-4 cards will be supplied and assistance will also be provided on-site.
All Student Team Members are requested to take advantage of direct deposit.
