Join us on the mini-quad outside the Student Fitness Center for RecFest! From 3-6pm on Wednesday, August 21 there will be games, food, prizes, and more! The event is free and open to all students.
Come one, come all to Hancock Stadium for Redbird Rumble 2019! This event allows the opportunity to compete in a variety of fun events and show your Redbird pride. Teams are comprised of 7-12 participants. These fun activities are welcome to everyone and require minimal skill and athleticism. Come join Campus Recreation and participate, cheer, and get into the Homecoming Spirit on Tuesday, October 22nd. Teams must arrive at the Northwest corner of Hancock Stadium to check in at 6:30 p.m.
This is a free event. Team uniforms and costumes are highly encouraged! Space is limited to the first 40 teams that register with at least 7 participants. Organizations are limited to 2 teams per organization. Organizations may register additional teams, but they will be placed on the waitlist until other groups are given a chance to sign up. Registration is now open!
The Homecoming Town and Gown 5K is our annual run/walk through and around campus. It’s a great time to meet old or new friends and challenge yourself, all while surrounded by the colorful autumn trees on campus. You can register here.
The Homecoming 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run is on October 26 at 8 a.m.
This program allows Illinois State students living in Residence Halls to participate in a variety of Campus Recreation programming for FREE. Campus Recreation and Housing have partnered to make $5,000 available to students living in Residence Halls for this year and it can be used on any of the below programs. Neon at Night is a nighttime 5K that will take participants around the campus and features plenty of bright colors and lots of fun. Neon at Night in on April 24 and starts at 8 p.m.
Battleship is a 16-round tournament where four-person teams will face off in the attempt to sink their opponent's canoe. Battleship is on April 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Student Fitness Center pool.
Adaptapalooza is an opportunity for ISU students, faculty, and staff to participate in a number of adaptive sports including: wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, adaptive climb, and Goalball. The event is free and will be held on February 27 at the Student Fitness Center from 5-6:30 p.m.
