Conduct

Illinois State University’s codes of conduct are enforced at the Bowling and Billiards Center at all times. Use of Illinois State University facilities is a privilege and participants are expected to be good citizens and respect the rights of others. Individuals who engage in unacceptable or irresponsible behavior may have their access to the Bowling and Billiards Center revoked or modified indefinitely as determined by the Director of Campus Recreation and the Bowling and Billiards Center. Students may be subject to further university disciplinary action as outlined in the Illinois State University Code of Student Conduct: Illinois State University Code of Student Conduct.

Identification (ID) Card Requirements/Access Control

Illinois State University students and all Bowling and Billiards Center (BBC) patrons must show proof of membership by presenting a valid ISU Redbird Card or be entered into our member software to gain access to the activity space of the Bowling and Billiards Center. Campus Recreation is fully authorized to deny entrance to the BBC without possession of valid identification noted above. Students and/or Faculty/Staff who forget their ID card will receive a one-time exemption to enter the BBC per semester. If a student or faculty/staff forgets their ID card on an occasion(s) in the same semester following the use of the one-time exemption, they will be charged the public rate for any services in activity spaces of the Bowling and Billiards Center.

KNR students are required to present a valid ISU Redbird card to enter the activity space to attend class. If a student forgets their ID card and needs to attend class, the student must go to Room 114, the manager’s office, to get approval from the manager in order to enter the BBC. This is also considered a one-time exemption, and it should be noted that this takes time to verify and may result in late arrival for class.

Misuse of ID or Membership Card

Redbird ID cards and login information are property of the University. Misuse of Redbird ID’s or login information to gain facility access is considered fraud. Campus Recreation team members will confiscate misused ID cards and will ask the person(s) to leave the facility. Misuse of an ID card or login information may also result in loss of access or user privileges. Instances of misuse of a Redbird ID or login information will be reported to Student Conduct.
