Fitness helped me discover who I am and what I’m capable of. After playing multiple sports in high school, I knew I wanted to stay active in college and challenge myself in new ways. I’ve always loved lifting, running, dancing, and yoga, and I see every workout as an opportunity to honor my body and push my limits, both physically and mentally. The gym has given me more than just strength, it’s given me confidence, resilience, and discipline that carries over into all areas of life, including academics.

As a current group fitness instructor, it brings me joy to create an environment where everyone can grow together. As a trainer, my goal is to build an inviting space for people of all fitness levels to work out, have fun, and feel supported. Whether you’re just starting your journey or ready to level up, I’ll create a personalized plan to help you reach your goals. My mission is for you to leave every session feeling proud, motivated, and confident in your own growth

My passion for fitness began in 2020 during the pandemic. Like many people, I was struggling mentally and felt like my life was out of control. I knew something had to change, so I started working out regularly. That decision transformed everything - my mental and physical health improved dramatically, and I discovered a new sense of purpose: to help others feel better in their lives. I believe that when you take care of yourself physically, everything else falls into place.

For the past three years, I’ve worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at the Student Fitness Center and have found nothing more rewarding than helping people reach their goals and feel good in their bodies. As an exercise science major, I feel both qualified and passionate about guiding others on their fitness journeys. I plan to use my personal experience and continuously growing knowledge to help clients build a lasting, healthy relationship with movement and feel empowered in their lives.

Fitness has always played a big role in my life. I played three sports in high school and was already active in the gym. After a knee injury left me feeling hopeless, I went through physical therapy and began taking training more seriously. The gym quickly became not only a place where I rebuilt my strength, but also my own form of therapy.

With three years of experience in personal training, I see how important it is to take care of your body, mind, and soul. With that, I try to help individuals create habits and long-term lifestyle changes rather than temporary ones. As a first-generation student, I am passionate about teaching individuals how to train the right way the first time around, and love helping others feel confident, supported, and comfortable in the gym, so they can reach their goals. That is exactly what I'd love to do with you.

I believe in making fitness enjoyable and attainable for anyone interested in pursuing a healthy and balanced lifestyle. I grew up as a competitive swimmer and dancer, and when I got to college, started lifting weights in order to achieve my fitness goals. I fell in love with fitness, teaching, and fitness education. This led me to start teaching group fitness classes at ISU, and helped me build community through movement, and realize my love for working with individuals one on one. I’m excited to partner with you, and help you to best achieve your fitness goals, no matter what they may be.

My background in fitness started in kindergarten when I joined a soccer team with my dad as my coach. I have done all kinds of sports throughout my life including soccer, cross country, tennis, and mountain biking, and as of today my focus is on weightlifting. The reason I have stuck with weightlifting is because of how helpful it has been for my mental health. After rough days, it is always an outlet for me where I can spend as little or as much time as I need. At first, I was terrified of going to a commercial gym. I lifted in my basement for two years before ever going to a gym but, as of today, the gym is one of my favorite places.

I have made most of my friends at the gym and have made some amazing memories. One of my favorite activities is introducing people to the gym who have never been before. I love helping others realize that the gym is less complicated and more fun than they initially thought. I decided to be a personal trainer because of my passion for fitness and helping others. I found success in introducing my friends to the gym, and I find that personal training gives me a perfect opportunity to reach more people in a similar way

Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I grew up playing just about every sport, but football is what truly shaped who I am. Football taught me discipline, work ethic, and what it means to show up for something day after day. That mindset is what first drew me into the gym.

As a personal trainer and exercise science major, my goal is to help others experience that same confidence through movement. Whether you’re trying to get stronger, feel better, or just become more comfortable in the gym, I want to meet you where you are and help you progress. Fitness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, putting in the work, and trusting the process. I’d love to help you do exactly that.
