Going to the gym wasn’t always fun or easy for me. In fact, in the beginning, it was embarrassing. I have never been gifted with exceptional strength, athleticism, or muscle mass, so what has made me the person I am today is hard work on a consistent basis. I am here to help you get started on the path to your goals and reach a level of consistency that will ensure results. Whether you are someone considering training for the first time or you are a long-time exerciser, there is always a way to make new progress and see yourself change in ways you never thought possible. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing tangible results. If you give me your best effort on a consistent basis, I will give you everything you need to reach your goals and have fun doing it!
There are countless benefits to exercise including improvements in self-esteem, strength, and mentality. At a young age I quickly learned how good it feels to finish a workout. Since then I’ve never taken my ability to move for granted and understand that a quality fitness routine is specific to each person’s personality and it doesn’t always have to be repetitive. At some point in high school, I discovered the gym and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and the people there. I spent a lot of time in group fitness at the YMCA, learned how to lift, and how to lead a healthy lifestyle. From then on, fitness became a huge part of my life, but I had no idea just how far it would take me. It completely transformed my outlook on life, helped me find a major I was passionate about, and brought me into contact with some amazing people. I believe that no matter what situation you come from or what your background is, becoming physically fit and active is achievable and essential to living your best life! Exercising has benefited me in so many ways both physically and mentally. When I first started, it was definitely a chore and there was nothing I wanted to do less. One day I told myself I would go to the gym 5 times a week for a month, and I haven't looked back since. Now I have come to love every minute I am in the gym, and the positive effects it has on my life. The key to achieving your goals in exercise is consistency. If you can engage in consistent action, and always be taking steps forward no matter how small, you will eventually reach your goal. Once you start engaging in consistent action and start to see results, that is when exercising gets really fun. My goal as a personal trainer is always to show my clients the benefits of exercise, and have them experience all the positive effects exercise had on me.
