Whether it be for physical, mental, or health benefits, going to the gym is a fantastic mechanism to build a stronger you. As a three-sport athlete in high school, I have always recognized the importance of being active. After high school sports ended, I learned that I had a deep passion for health and fitness. I began working out harder and coming up with individualized workout routines. I discovered my love for exercise and instead of it feeling like something I had to do, it was something I wanted to do. My mission as a personal trainer is to take clients on a fitness journey and find workouts that they too look forward to completing. Together, we will achieve your fitness goals and dedicate our time to crushing workouts and seeing results.
No two people will have the same experience when it comes to fitness. Everyone’s fitness journey is individually unique. However, one way in which all of our fitness journeys are a like is that we all start somewhere! Starting is often the hardest part, this can be for many reasons whether that is a lack of motivation, intimidation of the gym, or a dread of working out altogether. My goal as a personal trainer is to eliminate any of these factors that might be holding you back from beginning your own fitness journey. As your trainer, I will be your biggest cheerleader, I will create a positive unintimidating environment, and lastly my hope is to make working out something you learn to love rather than dread. I promise to commit to you and all I ask is that you do the same. Together we will work toward accomplishing your goals and reaching your full potential!
At some point in high school, I discovered the gym and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere and the people there. I spent a lot of time in group fitness at the YMCA, learned how to lift, and how to lead a healthy lifestyle. From then on, fitness became a huge part of my life, but I had no idea just how far it would take me. It completely transformed my outlook on life, helped me find a major I was passionate about, and brought me into contact with some amazing people. I believe that no matter what situation you come from or what your background is, becoming physically fit and active is achievable and essential to living your best life! I am here to assist you on your unique fitness journey. I will help you create a fun fitness program to help you reach your goals and become the best version of yourself! Physical exercise has so many benefits for the mind and body. Health and fitness have been passions of mine for as long as I can remember. I believe that wellness of the mind and body are what really define an individual’s health. Exercise is a great way to enhance an individual’s overall wellness. Exercise does not always have to be grueling and intense. It can be enjoyable and extremely rewarding. As a football and baseball player in high school, I learned quickly that staying active not only helped me compete, it allowed me to feel good about myself. Going to the gym was not always something I looked forward to. It can be discouraging at times when you are unmotivated and do not initially have a plan of attack. I learned to focus on my own personal goals, start to become educated in fitness and not compare myself to other individuals. Take the first step into investing in your wellness by exercising. Health and fitness have become such an important part of my lifestyle, and I can’t stress enough on the positive impact it’s made on me. I was never heavily involved in sports, rather, I was and still am a musician. I found ways to keep my body healthy by going to the gym and researching different diets. Like most, I never knew where to start, and I wanted results in an instant. Through my personal experience within the past 5+ years, I’ve learned that results won’t come in an instant. But, if you trust the process, learn to stay patient, and enjoy the process, you’ll get the results you’re working for. I know how confusing and overwhelming it can be to start a healthy lifestyle, not wanting to give up your favorite foods and not wanting the gym to consume your life. Which is why I believe I can help you find the perfect balance for your new healthy lifestyle, teaching you ways to maintain it permanently, while being able to enjoy the things that make you happy. I believe if you give me your all, I can help you achieve any realistic goal you have, and I can help you maintain that for when you no longer need a trainer!

“Fall in love with taking care of your body.” Fitness has been a passion of mine for many years now. Throughout my fitness journey I have bettered my own work ethic, gained confidence in myself, along with gaining strength and endurance. Those are all attributes I hope to instill in others throughout the personal training experience. My goal as a trainer is to help my clients reach their personal, individual goals. While also finding their own passion in living a healthy lifestyle and falling in love with taking care of their bodies. Your goals may scare you, and that’s okay. That’s part of my job, to break down those big goals into small achievievable goals that act as stepping stones working towards achieving the big goal. Over the years I have educated myself immensely on the benefits of weight training, HIIT training, and nutrition. I am also extremely knowledgeable in circuit training.
