Virtual Experience

Even at a distance, there are ways to connect to your teams and groups through digital platforms. Using a ZOOM based platform our team will facilitate team building activities that connect people and build community. Some activities may require limited supplies typically available at home including paper, pen, headphones, scissors, and additional web browser access. Some activities still include physical activity, whether that is collecting something from your home, standing, sitting, waving, etc.

Short Day

We have found that team building activities can often enhance or complement trainings that are more traditional in nature. While we can accomplish a lot in a Short Day (2 hours) with your group, this amount of time is not enough to resolve existing or long-standing conflicts. The following objectives can be met in this time frame:

  • Create a shared experience and start to form relationships.
  • Establish a sense of team identity, cooperation, and teamwork.
  • Create a supportive atmosphere where participation and encouragement are valued.

Half Day

A half-day program (3-4 hours) is the most popular program that we offer. This option would reinforce the objectives that can be achieved in a 2 hour program and additionally serve to:

  • Establish and practice group norms.
  • Develop group skills such as: communication, problem-solving, collaboration, etc.
  • Strengthen relationships, rapport, and commitment.
  • Develop interpersonal skills such as: leadership, trust, and confidence.

Full Day

A full day (5-6 hour) program would reinforce the objectives that can be achieved in a half day program and additionally serve to:

  • Provide a shared experience with increased risk, as High Elements are introduced.
  • More deeply explore the characteristics of the group and different interaction patterns.
  • Practice new or different actions and behaviors to positively affect group performance.

Multi-Day

A multi-day program would allow the group to focus on and delve into issues that are important to the team. A broader sequence of problem solving activities can be presented with longer periods of reflection and feedback, and more opportunities to practice skills. A longer time frame allows for more options of types of activities that can be presented. The benefit of the additional day is that participants have more opportunities to:

  • Examine actions and behaviors and more deeply explore the impact on individual and team performance.
  • Identify key learnings and develop an action plan to bring these insights back to real life.
