Student Professional Development Fund

The Student Professional Development Fund provides financial support for Illinois State University Campus Recreation student employees to participate in educational and professional development opportunities that enhance leadership skills, support success in current roles, and prepare students for future careers.

Eligibility
- Full-time ISU student
- Current Campus Recreation employee in good standing
- Employed with Campus Recreation for more than one semester

How to Apply
- Review program requirements and funding limitations
- Complete the online application
- Program manager submits a recommendation
- Complete a post-event report if awarded 

Funding
- Up to $500 per student per fiscal year
- Funding is limited and subject to availability
- Approved students are reimbursed for awarded amounts

Pay & Benefits

  • Payroll

    Download the payroll schedule.

    Visit the pay benefits website my.illinoisstate.edu/paybenefits for pay details.

  • W-4 Form

    Visit the Illinois State University Payroll website for instructions on completing your Federal W-4 and IL W-4. You may download and bring the completed forms to the HR Orientation; however, W-4 cards will be supplied and assistance will also be provided on-site.

  • Direct Deposit

    All Student Team Members are requested to take advantage of direct deposit.

    1. Visit the pay benefits website: my.illinoisstate.edu/paybenefits.
    2. Click "iPeople."
    3. Click "Direct Deposit." Provide the requested information and submit.

  • If you are not on the ISU network you must use a VPN to gain access. To install VPN capability, call IT Help at (309) 438-4357.
