The Student Fitness Center and McCormick Hall will provide a wealth of opportunities for the Illinois State University community for years to come. This state-of-the-art 170,000 square foot facility serves as the home for Campus Recreation, Health Promotion and Wellness, and the School of Kinesiology and Recreation. The SFC will operate under a reduced schedule during Labor Day Weekend. It will be open noon - 3 p.m. on September 2-3, and will be closed on September 4. There will be no group fitness classes September 1-4.
*Women's only weightlifting hours in Fitness 1 from 4 - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.
*Open swim times will be affected due to Family Swims: January 27, February 11 & 24, March 4 & 24, and April 15 & 28. Family Swims will run from 10 a.m. - noon on Saturdays, and noon - 2 p.m. on Sundays. Open swim times will start immediately after the completion of Family Swim times.
*Belays are available during any open hours as staffing allows.
*Hours are subject to change due to special event or Intramural Sport programming.

Like most campus buildings, the best way to access the new Student Fitness Center and McCormick Hall is as a pedestrian. However, there is limited street parking available as well as in the South University Street Parking Garage. Both options are fee based.
The main entrance for the programming side of the facility is on the south side just off the large green space. The main entrance for the academic areas is just off the Quad.
